Like, I was at Bunker Hill and suddenly 'Oberland Station is under attack' and so I drop what I am doing and fly all the way over to Oberland Station because apparently the CommonWealth would fall apart after one week without me to hold up the world, and so, I get the signal and my vertibird, myself in X-01 Power Armor, my companion in T-60F Power Armor, and an arsenal of top shelf weapons, come flying out at a minute's notice, and for what? Three low to mid-level gunners who my settlement with their multitude of turrets and 15 armed settlers could have taken out in minutes. I wonder if Radiant Quests are what purgatory feels like.Īnd these settlement defense quests where settlements are being attacked. Why can't this all just be resolved over the radio? I think it's even more annoying than the repetitiveness and tediousness that I have to have Preston or the radio station talk to me, then I have to go over to boring tenpines bluff to get the message, then I have to go and actually do the objective, then I have to come all the way back to just tell them that everything is fine now AND THEN I have to go all the fuck way over to wherever Preston is to also tell him that it's ok and then finally it's over but oh wait, Preston just got word of another settlement in trouble, but he didn't actually get word of where the raiders or whatever are coming from so that I can just go to them directly. I mean, first of all, the worst thing about the radiant quests are that you have to physically go to the people. Is anyone else just completely over the radiant quests and settlement defense quests? I don't know about anyone else here but I have lost interest in them and just make them go away with console commands at this point because they're just repetitive and quite frankly stupid.
